The JV Team ended their strong 11 – 4 season by capturing the championship at the Hanover JV Tournament on October 23rd. By defeating Pembroke in their final game on a goal by Olivia LePage, the team was set to face Hanover in the championship. The teams had met already during the regular season and Souhegan suffered a heart breaking loss on a penalty kick with 3 minutes to go so the Sabers were ready for redemption. Both teams played hard attacking soccer but were unable to score after regulation and overtime. Souhegan was victorious due to 4 great penalty shoot out saves by Mikaela Sullivan and penalty shoot out goals by Samatha Lott and Jocelyn Donahue. A fantastic way to end the season!!!
